Warehouse defie recession, profits up 17pc to $57.4m

The Warehouse has defied the recession, with a huge 17% increase in profits taking them $57.4 million.

This is not only great news for share holders but the New Zealand economy as a whole, if the red sheds are doing well then surely

this is positive for the the rest of NZ business.

Strategic Finance goes into receivership

Another finance company goes under as strategic finance collapses owing over 400 million to investors.

This is the second biggest finance company to go into receivership, after Bridgecorp.

It’s one of 48 finance companies to go into receivership since 2006 when all this financial horror began.
